Just think of the sun baked chameleon played by Johnny Depp as he made his way across the desert in the opening scenes of the movie Rango.
Like the sun in an endless dessert saps all the life and energy from everything in sight, so this girl uses the commanding rays of her unstable emotions to kill all the pleasure and excitement inside a man’s life.
As she reaches for the soup spoon in strident protest that she’s not use to eating meat with a fork, the man asks God, while trying to hold back the tears, “Lord, why do bad things happen to good people?”

So far, the response to the series (both on and off the internet) has been amazing. We will continue with Girl #5 on Monday (since I expect you all have better things to do on a Saturday and Sunday than read my blog).
Until Monday, I leave you with a spicy commentary from Trinidadian Comedian Whitney Williams on this very same topic.
In Case You Are Wondering Why I Am Writing This Series
No. It is not because I am or have been hurt (*face palm* – someone told me that yesterday).
The whole ethos of Maximize My life is centered on how you and I can make the most of our lives. Its about making investments in things that will add lasting value to our lives and the lives of those around us. Its about ensuring we don’t waste our short time.
Many of you consider a loving committed relationship as something worth investing in. I agree fully. It’s right in line with the ethos of this blog.
This series therefore is genuinely tailored to giving ladies a peak inside a man’s mind. My hope is that amid the humor (and if you reject some of what I say) you will get a glimpse into the things that count to us men and so be better equipped in your interactions us. That’s all!
Make sure to make the most of your weekend! Go Maximize Your Life!
