The aim of this series is to communicate, as clearly as is possible the things some women do that men find unbearable.
I must talk therefore about the girl with a pinch of pretty but a pound of attitude, who sadly, is much too common these days.
Though, at best an average looking girl, she obviously wakes up every morning with a reflection of Naomi Campbell in her mirror. Despite the ugly reality (no pun intended), she thinks she’s a catch and a half – and she has the attitude, and demands to match!
Do You Know Anyone Like Her?
She’s the girl you just want to go over to and say:
“Friend, it’s not so much your face that’s drawing my attention, as much as those knee high winter boots – with red fox fur – that you decided to wear in July, in Jamaica.”
“Hey, when I held the door open for you, I was merely being polite – trust me, I had nooo intentions of asking for your number.”
“You know, it’s very odd that you of all people would be laughing at how another girl looks or dresses when its quite clear to everybody else that a toy version of you would bankrupt the Barbie company.”
Why You Shouldn’t Be Like This
1. “Don’t Play Hard to Get If You’re Already Hard To Want.”
Plain and simple. I know my female readers all cringe at the mere suggestion that some people are “hard to want.” Cringe away.
2. You Need to Fix With Your Attitude, What You Broke With Your Face.
This is especially true in light of scientific research pointing to the fact that when contemplating a serious relationship, men zone into a woman’s face (as oppose to her body, which they are more concerned with in relation to casual flings).
3. Your Overconfidence Only Makes You More Liable For Careful Scrutiny (and you don’t need that!).
As the Jamaican proverb says: “the higher monkey climb, the more him expose.”
It means essentially: the more prominent you make yourself, the more clearly everyone will be able to see all your flaws.
The more you act like a Victoria Secret model, the more everyone will say “that girl has some nerve – look at her hair (skin, nose, eyes, – you name it).”
4. Over-Confidence is Delusional Thinking.
“I think, therefore I am” and “As a man thinks so is he” are not the equivalent to abracadabra. They don’t work where facial reconstruction is required.
Do not think more highly of yourself than you should, rather, think of yourself with a sober or sound measure. (Romans 12:3)
5. If Arrogance Makes Pretty People Ugly, Imagine What It Does to the Rest of Us.
Arrogance, because of how it disregards and belittles others, robs even the most beautiful of their appeal.
What happens though when your appeal is actually not that high anyway? Think about it.
I’m eager to know what you think! Please leave a COMMENT – enrich the discussion. Also, don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE (get these post in your email).
( That’s it for the weekend guys. See you on Monday (6 more girls to go!)
